Privacy and local message handling
This notice explains the information involved in browsing our educational website and choosing to contact us.
Who is responsible
Junglepuzzlewhistl Process Ltd, company number 14693528, is responsible for personal information it handles in connection with this website and editorial correspondence. Our registered office is 29 King Street, Manchester M2 6AY, United Kingdom. Contact [email protected] for privacy enquiries.
Browsing the site
Delivering a website involves technical information such as an IP address, requested file, browser information and request time. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process this information to deliver pages, maintain security and diagnose faults. Such processing supports our legitimate interests in operating a reliable, secure site, subject to applicable data protection requirements.
The supplied site code does not include advertising pixels, analytics trackers, account registration or third-party embedded media. Images, styles and scripts are requested as local site assets. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.
The process-question tool
The contact tool constructs plain text within your browser. It does not submit the fields to us, make a message API request or save the fields in cookies or local storage. Browser autofill and browser-managed form restoration may operate according to your own settings.
Choosing Copy message asks your browser to place the prepared text on your device clipboard. Choosing Download text creates a local text file. Your operating system, clipboard history, browser extensions, backups or device synchronization may retain those copies under your settings. Clear or delete them if they contain information you do not want retained.
Email correspondence
If you separately send us an email, we receive the content, sender address and associated message information. We use this to consider your enquiry, respond where appropriate and maintain relevant correspondence. Our legitimate interests in managing editorial communications ordinarily support this processing; legal obligations may require certain records to be retained.
Please do not send special-category personal information, patient data, confidential manufacturing records or credentials. We do not need those details to answer general editorial questions.
Recipients and international processing
Hosting, email and technical service providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to operate those services. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to address misuse or protect legal rights. We do not sell personal information.
If personal information is transferred outside the UK, applicable transfer requirements must be met, for example through adequacy arrangements or appropriate contractual safeguards where required. You may contact us to ask about safeguards relevant to your correspondence.
Retention and security
We keep correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for its purpose, associated follow-up, security and applicable legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the record. Technical information should likewise be limited to legitimate operational needs. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where consent is used, it can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights have legal conditions and exceptions.
Send requests to our editorial email with enough information to identify the relevant correspondence; avoid sending identity documents unless a proportionate verification request is necessary. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office or another competent supervisory authority.
